The National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) is all set to hit the floors, it is to be organized my Medical council of India to offer Medicine seats to aspirants for admission to MD/MS/Post Graduate Diploma Courses 2013 Admission Session. NEET Exam 2013 is confined to two divisions, one for Under Graduation and the other for Post Graduation.

The very first thing is to be concerned about Eligibility criteria, the candidate who wish to appear for NEET should pass 12th standard exam with minimum of 50% of marks - Open category and 40% of marks Reserved category, in aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Biology from a corresponding recognized board. The NEET Application forms will be available to candidates through online starting from dec 1st, 2012. The price of NEET NBE UG Application form for General category students is set at Rs 1000/- while for SC, ST and physically handicapped the application fees is set as Rs 550/-.The Last Date for applying is is 31st December, 2012.
The second stage in process is issue of Admit Cards for NEET Entrance Exam and it will be on 15th April, 2013. The final day is on May 5, 2013 as announced by MCI. The exam pattern goes like this
- First of all the Language of NEET question paper will be in English and in regional languages in some states such as Andhra Pradesh, Tamilnadu, Gujarat and West Bengal.
- The overall test duration will be of 3 hours.
- The type of NEET entrance exam patter will be strictly single response type MCQs.
- Total numbers of questions are 180 Multiple Choice Questions (Physics-45, Botany-45, Zoology-45, Chemistry-45) with no negative marking which is a major factor but will comes in to play in case of tie.

Right after graduation students aspire to get their Post Graduation in their dream stream of Medicine like Cardiology, Ophthalmology, Pediatrician, Neurology etc. To do so, previously students needed to appear for various entrance exams just to make the things simpler. The National Board of Examinations (NBE) is all set up to conduct NEET–PG. Its purely a Computer Based Test (CBT) which is going to be held from November 23, 2012 to December 6, 2012 . The test centers are already finalized and its gonna be in 33 cities across the country. These following days are excluded from the testing window 24th, 25th, 28th November and 2nd December 2012 , surely exam will not be conducted on these days.
Coming to the details, NEET NBE PG Test is firmly a qualifying-cum-ranking examination for admission to MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses. The Medical Institutions which are recognized for operating these courses comes under the domain of Post Graduate Medical Education Regulations. The exam will comprises 240 multiple choice and single correct response questions. Unlike the UG exam, the questions will be in English. No Negative Marking.Very serious note that the weight age of MCQ’s is indicative and purely provisional. NBE reserves its rights to alter /vary /amend the same. The Syllabus for the test shall comprise of subjects /knowledge areas as per the Graduate Medical Education Regulations issued by Medical Council of India with former agreement of Government of India. NEET PG CET Application costs about Rs. 2750 for SC/ST/PWD and Rs.3750 for General/OBC candidates. The validitity of the score will only for current admission year.
