The Acronym for NEET is National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test which allows aspirants to take admission into various Under Graduate (UG) and Post Graduation (PG) Courses. Notification for NEET 2013 will be published by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and it was undertaken by the same board. Previously there are many allegations raised by many colleges and now it’s became official about rolling out NEET-UG & PG Exam 2013 in India. With this decision Union Health Ministry has already pinged State Governments about not to disturb the present reservation policies used in preparing the merit lists of the particular student.

NEET Exam 2013 Date

As per the reports, National Eligibility Entrance Test 2013 will be held on May 5, 2012 [Sunday]. This date not yet declared with an Official NEET 2013 Notification. Why NEET from this Year?

It comes with a meaning Common or Single Entrance Test for MBBS and MD Courses. These prestigious courses are offered by almost 271 medical colleges in which 138 are Government Colleges and 133 are Private Institutions. All over these are offering nearly 31k Seats for MBBS and 11k Seats to hold Post Graduation degree.

In the academic year 2013 – 14, more than 10 lakh candidates are expected to take part in this Common Medical Entrance Test called NEET Exam 2013.
