Apart from this move, government has limited the usage of LPG Gas to Six Cylinders [or 10 under proposal] per year. Confused on Why these restrictions in the usage of Gas Cylinders? Actually in the past few years all the Oil Corporations are in huge losses and asked Government to issue new Gas Connections all over the state. During this interval every individual got chance to obtain more than one connection in very less time. With the decrease of Subsidiary by the government, Old Corporations like IOCL, HPCL and BPCL has decided to limit the consumer connections. They won’t even considered the authorities statements and implementing their plans to cut the LPG Gas connections who has more than one. Till now there is no guidelines published by the authorities.

One of the HPCL Official said to update the system software by introducing a separate tab with Number of Cylinders Booked and this was the note given to dealers who are booking cylinders online. They are about to close 13 lakh connection in the coming stages.

How to avoid from disconnection?
The only way to avoid from disconnection is to submit the LPG Gas KYC Form with the genuine details. If you are have more than one, then handover it to the dealer and apply for new connection. Note, it will take nearly 1 year to get new cylinder.

What is LPG Gas KYC Form?

It is an application form required to protect LPG connection by filling the simple and necessary details clearly. All the basic information related to one individual and all the connection without having this declaration information sheet will be terminated. However it is a ridiculous decision taken by Oil Corporations like HPCL, BPCL and IOCL because if this comes into effect what would be the position of Joint family having more than 10+ members at same place?
