They are not telling the journalists what they will be launching but they have made a mention of the digit “5” in the invitation and people are taking it to be the iPhone 5.
Also, there are rumours that state that the pre-order for the iPhone will commence the day it has been launched. The handset will be manufactured by Foxxconn and if the officials of the company are to be believed, then this handset will be a huge bang for the Samsung Galaxy SIII that is ruling the roost at the moment.

It seems that Sony has been in contact with Apple and they were showcasing their best display to the company, so that one of the displays could be used for the iPhone 5.
Apart from the display, there are many other features that are being speculated and one of them are the larger speaker grills. Also, this time the handset that will be released by Apple is expected to have dual hues, that is there will be two-hues of the same color and there will be signature aluminum rim that is present in the iPhone 4 and 4S as well.
Coming to the dimensions of the handset, it is believed that the iPhone5 will be slimmer than its predecessor, but at the same time, it will be a smidgen taller. Rumour has it that with a thickness of 7.6mm, this handset will be named as one of the sleekest handset available in the market. There will be the nanoSIM style SIM slots that will be used and thus, the SIMs that will be compatible with the handset will be NanoSIMs. This rumour has caused many of the telecom companies to stock up nanoSIMs so that they are available as soon as the iPhone5 arrives in the market.
