Pressmart launches an Online Class Room App Pilot Project
Pressmart is one of the best company in publishing content Online. It is going to launch Pressmart’s MOCA which means A Mobile Online Classroom Application. The primary objective in launching this Online Class Room Application is to replace the textbooks in class room learning. This Company going to take their test runs with a couple of schools first. Since Pressmart is a city based Online Publishing Company, it is going to publish cloud based Technology in 33 different languages. As a part in the project, already more than 4,500 students had taken the Android based Tablet which was launched by the name called “PEARL” in Manila, Philippines.
Here comes a Question. What is Pressmart PEARL? It is an Acronym for Personal Learning Device Project. The aim in carrying this Project was to digitalize the classrooms and students are allowed to bring their own low weight Tablet Computers approximately 500 grams to do their Class work, Assignments, Examinations etc.,
This Pressmart MOCA will be implemented in Five Phases. Currently the First Phase is under progress and it is yet to complete. Pressmart is trying their best to get it done in India too. It is expected to be implemented in India by this year end. So, Students in India have to wait for some more time to use Pressmart’s MOCA – A Mobile Online Classroom Application in your Schools.
