Access Control Mechanism for Ubiquitous Applications based on Touch screen

The main and primary objective of Access Control Mechanism for Ubiquitous Applications project is to develop an embedded system, which is used to control the authenticated using Touch panel based password. This project is implemented 8051 based AT89S52 developed board interfaced with relay, touch panel, control unit and LCD for displaying the data.

This project Access Control Mechanism for Ubiquitous Applications based on touch screen will be used to identify the persons through fingerprints and by giving access for authorized and deny to unauthorized. The system is fully controlled by the 8 bit 8051 based Micro controller. The system comprises of a small electronic unit with a touch panel which is fixed at the control panel through which password is entered. When an authorized person enters, a predetermined number (password) is entered via the keypad, microcontroller compares the predefined passwords and if the password matches then the user can operate the machinery through relay. Relay is an electronic switch which is used to ON/OFF the machine. And if the entered password is wrong relay will be off and displays same on the LCD

The entire system works with a flash based memory with a non-volatile memory which is capable of retaining the password data for over 10 years. Programs that which the user developed in embedded c language can be compiled using RIDE Software. ISP is used to dump the code into the Micro controller. Full form of RIDE Software was " Raisonance Integrated Development Environment "
