Authorized Home Appliances Control with i-Button

The main objective of this project is to develop an embedded system, which will authenticate the authorized persons and give access to control all the devices at home using i-button and password. This project is implemented 8051 based At89s52 based developed board interfaced with i-button, keypad and LCD for display purpose.

Home automation is controlling of light, climate, doors and window shutters and many more which we can control manually in our daily life. In this project we are going to develop an embedded system, which will control all these devices with commands from keys which are soldered on the RF transmitting board. This project is implemented on AT89S52 microcontroller.

The project consists of a microcontroller board attached with an i-button and key pad along with a relay. According to the correct password only the devices will be switched ON/OFF.
Whenever the person wants to control the electrical apparatus at home, he need to enter the password through the keypad interfaced with the microcontroller after putting the i-button. If password matches he is authenticated to control the devices. If the password does not match with the predefined passwords stored in eeprom the controller gives a long beep. By using the keypad the authorized person need to enter the control signal (i.e. ON/OFF the device). The whole process will be displayed on the LCD interfaced at the transmitter and receiver respectively.
